Matt Bomer And Andrew Rannells Kissed For Andy Cohen

It’s impossible for anyone to go on Andy Cohen’s show and not walk out of the studio either shit-faced, having pissed off a Real Housewife, or done something to send their publicist to the nearest dive bar. Matt Bomer and Andrew Rannells are starring in the revival of The Boys In The Band on Broadway, and since they have seats to fill, they went on Watch What Happens Live to promo it…with a little tonsil hockey.

The friends got very friendly during one of Andy’s stupid games he makes A-List guests play to remember ain’t nobody too cool for school for a game of spin the bottle. Last night’s episode had Matt and Andrew playing “Uncomfortably Close,” something I wouldn’t mind being with the night’s bartender (and Boys In The Band co-star) Charlie Carver.

Matt and Andrew had to face each other and ask questions while getting closer and closer. I was really hoping someone would have the balls to ask, “How much coke do you think Andy offered Kathy Griffin?” but they didn’t. They eventually teed up the round of suck face when they started calling each other pretty (I’d kiss a stranger if they called me pretty, so that makes sense), asked about how long it’d been since they brushed teeth and then…well, let’s hope Matt’s husband and kids weren’t tuned into late-night TV! This one ended up in a kiss – precisely the intended result of the Socratic Method!

Andy needed to sniff the smelling salts after that was done and then basically told the actors to exit stage left, so he and Charlie could recreate puckered-up game night (back off, bitch!). What that ho really needs to do is copyright that game and use it to get out-of-line housewives to sign their contracts for the next season. “You’ll do it for $10,000 LESS per episode, WIG, or I’ll bring Nene in to play ‘Uncomfortably Close’!”
