Caitlyn Jenner Went To The UK To Blast Her Ex-Pal Donald Trump

Caitlyn Jenner is once again eating a giant helping of Yankee crow today, as she addressed British Parliament during a diversity lecture to bemoan how Donald Trump has set back the transgender community by 20 years. No shit, Sherlock…I mean…good for you, Cait!

Deadline says Caitlyn warned the UK to “not go down the same road” as the U.S. Apparently, Caitlyn doesn’t get out much or watch the news because I’m pretty sure there must have been a few anti-Brexiters in the House of Commons thinking, “Gurl, it’s too late.” Most people have had to contact their doctors from severe eye-rolling at Caitlyn, who voted for Trump, and later walked back her support for him.

While she didn’t dive into that shit storm, Cait addressed her critics who say she kind of twirled her cane into a place of privilege when so many members of the transgender community face such a hard time:

“When I came out the first year was very good, everything was going along great and then all of a sudden I became this person of privilege. I didn’t ‘get it’ when it came to the trans community, we have a very marginalized community and I didn’t get it and I got so much of this for so long. I will never apologize for everything I’ve been able to do because I’ve worked very hard and I’m not going to apologize for working hard and being successful. But what that does is gives me a sense of privilege but it also gives me a platform.”

Cait’s speech is kicking off a Channel 4 series on gender that will go through the year, but it hasn’t been without critics. Carmen Carrera from RuPaul’s Drag Race said Caitlyn is trying to be the Mother Teresa of the trans community, which makes the divorce from Pimp Mama Kris make even more sense considering PMK wants to be the Mother Teresa of Calabasas. You can only have one Mother Teresa under a roof!
