Johnny Depp Pulled A Johnny Depp On The Set Of His New Movie

I could mean a lot of things by that headline. I could mean that a drunken Johnny Depp got into a fight with his earpiece after his assistant fed him the line, “Fuck you, asshole,” and Johnny thought that bitch ass earpiece was talking to him. I could also mean that a drunken Johnny Depp got into a fight with a shrub after thinking that shifty shrub looked at him funny. And I could mean that a drunken Johnny Depp tried to punch a crew member. This time, I’m talking about the third one.

Shooting just finished on Johnny Depp’s new movie LAbyrinth – and I’ll stop right here for a second. There’s no need for us to head over to Home Depot to pick up some pitchforks before driving over to Hollywood to scream at those evil butt corns for doing a remake of Labyrinth starring Johnny Depp in the David Bowie role. That hasn’t happened (yet). LAbyrinth is about the investigation into the murders of Biggie and Tupac.

While shooting was going down, several crew members tell Page Six that Johnny attacked a location manager one night. One source said that they were shooting on a street in Downtown L.A. and the time on the permit ran out. The location manager let the director Brad Furman know that they had to wrap it up, but Brad said to “tell that to Johnny Depp.” So that’s what the location manager did and Johnny responded in a calm, sane way by saying, “Okay, I understand, thank you for doing your job, kind sir.” No, the source says Johnny, who had been boozing and smoking all day on the set, got in the location manager’s face and screamed, “Who are you? You have no right!”

When the “who” Johnny was going off on let him know that he’s the location manager, Johnny supposedly went to punch him in the ribs. But I guess a drunken Johnny Depp has the strength of a wet wispy silk scarf, because the punch didn’t really do anything. The source says that Johnny then yelled, “I’ll give you $100,000 to punch me right now!”, at the location manager before getting pulled away.

Johnny’s rep says that the story was just blown up into something scandalous and that he’s a consummate professional. Can you literally die from laughing? If so, then RIP Johnny’s rep, because anyone who says this with a straight face would definitely HAHAHA themselves to the death afterward.

“Johnny Depp is a consummate professional, great collaborator and a supporter of other artists. He always treats the crew and people around him with the utmost respect. Movies can be stressful, and nonevents often become exaggerated. We all love stories — there isn’t one here.”

The real story here is that Johnny Depp shouted at someone that he’ll give them $100,000 to punch him and the longest line in history didn’t immediately form. But then again, Johnny is reportedly going broke and has a zillion legal bills, so he definitely wouldn’t make good on that $100,000 punch. But then again again, many people would gladly do it for free.
