Blake Lively Wiped Her Instagram Account To Promote Her New Movie

May 1, 2018 / Posted by:

Blake Lively has wiped all the pictures from her Instagram account and from the looks of things, she did it for the cultcha! Well, more accurately, she did it for the Emily Nelsons. People reports that Blake has sacrificed her “enviable fashion posts” and her “fan-loved pranks” to help promote her new movie called A Simple Favor about a woman named Emily Nelson who disappears.

People says:

The film, directed by Paul Feig and also starring Anna Kendrick, is an adaptation of a book by the same name in which a woman named Emily Nelson mysteriously vanishes.

Blake’s Instagram account looks like this now.

Every one of those 30 people she’s following are named Emily Nelson,  giving thousands of Emilys (and probably even more Beckys) the thrill of their lives.

Some Emilys, upon being followed by Blake, initially thought perhaps she had been hacked.

But others pieced the movie tie-in together using one of Blake’s last tweets as a clue.

Shut up, Dominique! This is for Emilys and Beckys ONLY. A few other non-Emilys have tried various tactics to get Blake to pay attention to them.

Nice try, Val! What are you some kind of brunette? Gross.

But fear not intrepid Blake stans, Blake is still Blake on Twitter!

Oh nooooooooo!!!!!!!

Blake dear, are you sure that’s not supposed to be E-L-V-I-S?
