The Estranged Wife Of Miranda Lambert’s New Boyfriend Has Something To Say

April 27, 2018 / Posted by:

When it was revealed a couple days ago that Miranda “What wedding ring?” Lambert was currently hooking up with a guy who still technically has a wife, I figured it was only a matter of time before said wife popped up and offered her thoughts on the situation. Country musician Evan Felker reportedly got with Miranda when his band, the Turnpike Troubadors, opened for her on tour at the beginning of February. On February 16th, he filed for divorce from his wife Staci Felker. Staci has finally come forward with a comment on the matter.

When the estranged wife has something to say, you can usually expect it to range from “It’s fine, our marriage was long dead” to the threat of a parking lot fight. Staci kept it classy, but was also a little shady. UsWeekly says that Staci subtly addressed Evan and Miranda’s relationship coming-out in an Instagram Story posted yesterday.

A source told UsWeekly that Staci (who filed her own divorce papers 12 days after Evan’s, citing “abandonment“) was “devastated” by the news. So clearly, Staci has had a rough week. It’s one thing to know your husband bailed on your marriage to (ahem) go tune Miranda’s gee-tar strings. But it’s a whole other to have it rubbed in your face whenever you open your eyes. A trip to UsWeekly.com has the potential to feature a quote from a source saying, “Miranda feels like Evan is her soulmate!“. And the television is bound to do you dirty too. Imagine turning on Extra and hearing Mario Lopez utter the words, “I guess you could say she Fel-ker head over heels for Evan.” Ugh, any news delivered by Mario Lopez is bound to make it just that much worse.
