There’s Some Diva Messiness Going On Behind-The-Scenes Of The “Lethal Weapon” TV Show

April 25, 2018 / Posted by:

Even with sunglasses on, Team Cosby member Damon Wayans is emoting a vibe that tells me he would rather be teabagging Pinhead than posing next to that Boardwalk Empire-looking ass extra. There’s a good reason for that, because Damon hates him!

Deadline says that what’s been happening behind the cameras on the set of Fox’s Lethal Weapon TV show is much more interesting than what happens in front of them. Lethal Weapon is in its second season, and it does well for Fox, so a third season renewal was expected. But apparently, that’s up in the air thanks to one of the show’s two leads, Clayne Crawford, acting like a regular Thomas Gibson (but without the name recognition. Although, Thomas Gibson’s name also gives me a case of the Whos).

Clayne “The Fuck Kind Of Name Is Clayne” Crawford (born name: Joseph Crawford) has been accused of terrorizing the cast and crew on set. Sources told Deadline that he’s been emotionally abusive and created a hostile working environment. The higher-ups talked to and disciplined him several times, but Clayne kept on, kept on. Fox and Warner Bros. TV are now considering replacing him with an actor who isn’t totally a rusty thorn in everyone’s taint. Or they could always cancel the whole show.

Clayne must’ve realized that going from “Who?!” to “Oh, that mess who got fired from the Lethal Weapon TV show” isn’t a good look, because he burped up an apology, saying that he was talked to by HR and that he’s just ~passionate~ about his work. So you hear that, Jerry the Gaffer? The dollar menu Christian Bale was only yelling at your face because he’s got so much passion about making the art that is the Lethal Weapon TV show.

Forgive my delayed response. #truth

Deadline says that the “actor” Clayne mentions in his apology is his co-star Damon Wayans.

The day before the shrapnel incident, Damon had called in sick. After the shrapnel incident, he was sent home. Damon came back to set the next day, but used “safety concerns” to put limits on what he was willing to do. Damon didn’t want to run down stairs or hold a gun. The TV version of The Rock and Vin Diesel supposedly got into a verbal fight, which ended with Clayne using “strong words” to tell Damon how he felt. That fight was bad enough to make it to the ears of the higher-ups at Warner Bros. TV.

Damon and Clayne didn’t really get along before that fight, but now they only talk to each other when a camera is rolling.

Clayne has called in SAG-AFTRA to mediate, and it’s being looked into. Damon and Clayne also don’t have agents right now. Clayne and his agent broke up after the situation with the “guest director.”

Please. Fox isn’t going to cancel this shit. Many people probably didn’t even know the Lethal Weapon TV show is on, and now they do thanks to this free press! Fox is loving it. But you know, Clayne played this all wrong with that statement. What he should’ve said is, “My role was originally played by Mel Gibson in the movie, so being the serious thespian that I am, I decided to play the role as Mel Gibson playing it, which is why I’m a throbbing dick fart at all times.” Jared Leto, who?
