Adam Rippon may have become the star of the 2018 Winter Olympics and been named HSOTD for the little “hold me daddy” harness he wore to the Oscars, but if he thinks he can come for Johnny Weir, the one and only Ice Queen that counts (no Elsa, take a seat dear. This competition is not for you until you come out), he’s got another thing coming.

When Adam appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and insinuated that Johnny is jealous of his boogie, Johnny #tooktotwitter and opened up an entire can of… mature response and genuine encouragement? Damn, son! Shit just got Weir-ed!

Here’s Johnny’s response to Adam:

Nobody will be snatching away Johnny’s crown today, nor tomorrow, nor the next day. Not gonna happen. Johnny keeps it tight. He’s had time to live that growth life both in and out of the spotlight. Meanwhile, Adam is still riding this wave of newfound fame and will probably make worse mistakes than trying to shade the brightest disco ball at the ice rink.

Adam’s most recent stop on his post-Olympic victory lap was on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’s couch where he gave Reese Witherspoon the thrill of her dang life by letting her hold his bronze medal. TNLJP and Adam had exchanged tender twitter words during the games and continued to fan girl all over each other on Stephen’s couch and the sluts didn’t even have the courtesy to put down a towel.
