Jennifer Lawrence Wants To Know If Taylor Swift And Karlie Kloss Are Still Friends

One of the most dramatic situations in the metaphorical high school of famous people is whether or not four-time Most Popular Victim superlative recipient Taylor Swift is still best friends with Karlie Kloss. No one really knows the status of their BFF gold-plated heart necklaces. Are they still wearing them under all their homemade t-shirts? Or are they currently at the bottom of a shoebox alongside several old Seventeen magazines and a dead iPod shuffle. Jennifer Lawrence wants to know.

Last Thursday, Jennifer Lawrence joined The New York Times in Washington, D.C., for a TimesTalks on her new film, Red Sparrow. In Red Sparrow, JLaw plays a Russian spy. Since she plays a spy, she was asked what top secret she’d figure out if she were a spy in real life. She first jokes under her breath that she’d want to “figure out what’s going on in the White House.” Upon realizing she probably doesn’t want to be the subject of Trump’s next Twitter tantrum, she amended her answer.

“I mean, honestly, I’d like to know what’s going on between Karlie Kloss and Taylor Swift. That’s the honest-to-God truth. Is nobody else curious? It’s keeping me up at night. What happened!”

There is one way to find out what happened. Jennifer could channel her Red Sparrow character by going undercover and infiltrating Taylor’s squad. Not only might she find out the secret of how Taylor made Karlie disappear, but she could do some enemy espoinage for her pal Kim Kardashian (code name: Self-Tanner Orange Pigeon).

Here’s Jennifer at last night’s BAFTAs in a Dior dress that looks like it was constructed using the back of a desk chair and the foam sheet it came wrapped in.
