Some People Were Weirded Out By Tom Brady Kissing His Son On The Lips
The internet has been known to have many feelings about a parent kissing their young child on the lips, so buckle up.
According to The Cut, there’s a moment during Tom Brady’s Facebook docuseries called Tom vs Time when his 10-year-old son John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan comes in while he’s getting a massage. Jack asks his dad to check in on his fantasy football team. Tom asks him, “What do I get?” and Jack gives him a kiss on the mouth. Then Tom informs Jack “that was just a peck,” and Jack gives him a longer kiss.

Mouth-kissing a kid is one of those things that is either super normal or super weird, depending on the kind of family you grew up in. Obviously those who really aren’t into letting a kid make mouth contact saw that video clip of Tom and Jack and voiced their concerns on social media. The majority of those who weren’t feeling it thought Jack had aged out of dad-kissing. Although it was quickly pointed out that 40-year-old Tom hasn’t exactly aged out of dad-kissing himself.

Others thought it was weird of Tom to ask for a longer kiss. I don’t think it’s that weird. If anything, it just proved a long-held theory of mine. Based on his head shape, size, ability to hold the same look on his face forever, and seeming inability to close his mouth, Tom is actually a come-to-life CPR dummy. That wasn’t a second kiss – it was a two-second transfer of air.
