Selena Gomez Spent A Couple Of Weeks In Rehab Getting A Tune Up

Selena Gomez has been doing some much needed self-care and recently spent two weeks in a Justin Bieber dependency rehab facility. Sorry, my bad, I totally read that wrong. UsWeekly says it’s actually a  “treatment facility focused on mental wellness and empowerment”. The New York facility provides “clean eating” as well as treatment for mental and physical health. No word if Selena was allowed to bring her giant teddy bear but they did let her bring her telephone. Selena was last in rehab in 2016.

UsWeekly reports:

The “Fetish” singer, who kept her phone with her throughout the experience, had the support of on-again boyfriend Justin Bieber. “[He] knew about it and was supportive, but the trip had nothing to do with him,” said the source. “It was all her decision. She feels great and is working on new music.”

Selena’s sources, (Momma Teefy included) always make sure we know that everything she does is “her decision” which of course means A&E should probably devote an entire season of Intervention to Selena Gomez: The Beiber Triangle. Her little wheat grass and trust fall retreat sounds a whole lot healthier than culty couples counseling so it looks like she made a good “decision”. In addition to making gluten-free macaroni art (just a guess) she’s receiving treatment for depression and anxiety. The Selena insider told Us:

“She’s had a lot going on the last few months and she wanted to clear her mind and thought this was the way to do it,” the insider said. “She loved it. She will be back at some point during the year.”

Honestly, it sounds fucking fabulous. Couldn’t we all use a little trip to the mental health spa right about now? She was also free to go out into New York City for work. Sounds like my kind of rehab. Where do I sign up and do they accept loose change and pocket lint for payment?
