There’s A Rumor That Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Got Married In Australia

January 16, 2018 / Posted by:

Not very long after Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got back together, she was seen wearing an engagement ring. So it seemed like it was inevitable that Miley would twerk down the aisle, but last month, a source let it be known that they already consider themselves to be married, and that they had “zero plans” for an “actual wedding.” They might not have been planning a wedding, but according to the Australian tabloid NW (via The Daily Dot), they recently got married.

The Daily Dot points out that 25-year-old Miley resurfaced after a short Instagram break with a birthday shout-out to Liam, who turned 28 last week.

Happiest birthday to my very best friend on the entire planet! I ❤️ u!

The theory is that Miley hadn’t posted anything new since Christmas, because she was too busy getting secret married to Liam in Australia. A source claims Miley and Liam got legally married while vacationing in Byron Bay over the past few weeks.

The source adds that they decided to get married because “it felt right,” and that they chose Byron Bay because it’s a “special place” for them and it’s where they realized they couldn’t live without each other. It’s nice they chose a place that’s special to both of them and not just a special place for Miley, otherwise they might have tied the knot while kicking back on a giant inflatable weed leaf pool floatie in her “inspiration” shed.

However, Gossip Cop says that Miley and Liam definitely haven’t gotten married, and any rings you see either of them wearing are just low-commitment promise rings.

If Gossip Cop is wrong, and NW is telling the truth that Miley and Liam really are married, then I’m disappointed they couldn’t provide any more information. I hope whatever kind of ceremony they had was a nice mix of both of their cultures. I want to believe that Miley and Liam rode in on kangaroos wearing ripped Bud Light t-shirts and recited vows that began with, “Oi mate, I promise to always be fair dinkum to you and love you more than yer pappy’s best jug of moonshine.
