Tonya Harding Lost Her Publicist After Demanding Reporters Be Fined For Asking About Her Past

Tonya Harding’s big “comeback” has only lasted a couple of months now and she’s already making headlines with her prickly attitude and “woe is me” demeanor. Some people, like Allison Janney, think she’s just swell. Others, like Johnny Weir, think she stinks. But love her or hate her, she’s always been consistent in her ability to stir the pot. However, it looks like Tonya may have stirred that pot a little too aggressively and has lost her longtime publicist Michael Rosenberg because of it.

Here’s Michael’s statement as tweeted by sports reporter Christine Brennan.

Really, who cares about anything other than the thing she’s famous for! There’s a reason I, Tonya isn’t focused on Tonya’s post skating career as a celebrity boxer. People reports that Michael has been working for Tonya in various capacities for decades, well before the baby seal clubbing.

Rosenberg’s relationship with Harding, 47, dates back decades, according to media accounts, and he has alternately been described as her agent, adviser, manager and publicist.

Tonya even claimed that Michael was the person who convinced her to participate in the production of I, Tonya. So she really has him to thank for any opportunity she has now to be paid to answer questions about anything at all. I’ll be really interested to see if 2018 Tonya is any smarter or more media savvy than 1994 Tonya. From the sounds of it, things aren’t looking so good for her.

But no matter what happens, we’ll always have this.
