Hot Slut Of The Day!

The silver marijuana leaf earrings that CNN journalist Randi Kaye wore during the network’s confusing, awkward and extra tragic New Year’s Eve mess fest!

Andy Cohen made his debut as Kathy Griffin’s replacement on CNN’s New Year’s Eve show last night, and well…. the only thing colder than the b-holes of the crazies who waited hours in Times Square to watch the ball drop was the chemistry between Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper. Andy Squared are supposed to best friends forever, or something, and they do a live stage show together, but I saw more sparks between Kathy Griffin and the ketchup-covered rubber mask that got her ass fired. Andy Cohen spent a good chunk of the night pimping out his Bravo show and the Housewives, and they both spent an even bigger chunk of the night bitching about how cold it was. The Silver Fox kept coughing throughout the night, and I half expected him to announce that he suddenly came down with a serious case of instant pneumonia (read: quitthisbitch-itis) and had to leave the show, leaving Andy to co-host via Skype with his parents, who admitted that even they weren’t watching that shit show live.

But there were a few saving graces on CNN’s New Year’s Eve show. Enter: The triumphant return of drunk Don Lemon and Brooke Baldwin, and Randi Kaye totally getting contact high while reporting from the CannaBus in Denver! But I’ll get to them in a second.

While many on Twatter were busy screaming at CNN to get Kathy Griffin to parachute into Times Square and save that very slow-moving train wreck, Andy Cohen was busy pissing off guests. Andy Squared talked to Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman, who were in Nashville where he was performing. The satellite kept cutting out (there were technical issues galore last night), and Andy Squared should’ve taken that as a sign. But they didn’t and Andy asked Nicole about her clapping like a half-broken animatronic seal at the Oscars. Nicole wasn’t having that question and froze Andy’s already frostbitten face with an icy answer.

Nicole wasn’t the only one who was over Andy’s shit. Anderson was too:

Really over it:

Andy Squared’s thing seemed to be to make fun of each other and fight, so The Silver Fox telling Andy he doesn’t like to be touched may have been an act (probably not), but I don’t think CNN reporter Richard Quest was acting when he pulled the “bitch, get your paws off of me” move on Andy.

But it wasn’t totally an awkward cringefest. As usual, the drunks and stoners saved the day!

Don Lemon and Brooke Burke were back in New Orleans to get plastered while interviewing fellow plastered messes. Don also kissed his man, who he met at the same bar last New Year’s.

And then there was Randi Kaye and her marijuana leaf earrings. This year, Randi had herself a beautifully green New Year’s Eve by reporting from a party bus filled with stoners getting high, and at a “puff, pass and paint party” in Denver. Randi never toked up on camera and she acted like she wasn’t partaking in the good shit, but even my stoned ass got contact high from watching the hot boxin’ action on that bus:

And Randi became my new favorite CNN reporter when she introduced me to the heavenly tube of green ecstasy called The Incredibowl!

I don’t know who got more high last night: Randi Kaye or Kathy Griffin from inhaling the fumes of the bomb that Andy Squared dropped last night.

And I know I’m acting like I wasn’t into CNN’s New Year’s Eve mess, but I was. It had everything you could ever want in a New Year’s Eve show: car crash interviews, awkwardness, bitchiness, man-on-man action, drunks and stoners!
