Those naps were legendary, and when I nap today, I try to nap like a 13-year-old me at the symphony. So I felt at one with the unseen sleeping woman in this video. Although, nothing could wake me. Not Mariah Carey singing live, not a shit-talking brat screeching after getting maced in the face by a member of the Not The One Crew, and not a music change at the symphony.
HuffPo says that this video was recorded earlier this month during a performance of Igor Stravinsky’s The Firebird by the North State Symphony in Redding, CA. As Scott Seaton, the music director with the magnificent mane (he’s also the one who uploaded the video), summoned musical notes out of the orchestra, a woman in the audience was dancing through dreamland. She was dead asleep. But when the music changed, her ass woke up real quick and she screamed. I picture her, sitting there, mouth open with drool dripping down her face as BANG! She jumps out of her body and nearly cacas her chonies after thinking she’s just been shot! The scream is at the 0:18 mark.
