A Former Model Has Accused Magician David Blaine Of Rape
According to The Daily Beast, a former model from England named Natasha Prince has recently come forward accusing a then 31-year-old David Blaine of raping her at a private home in London a few months after she turned 21 in 2004. In 2003, David became famous after he suspended himself from a glass box over the River Thames in London for 44 days. Natasha Prince had booked a job in London in June of 2004, where she met David Blaine at a nightclub. They exchanged numbers. The next day, Natasha says David invited her over to a friend’s house for drinks. She agreed, and she took a car to a huge mansion.
When she got there, Natasha alleges that David went into the kitchen and came out with a tall glass filled with vodka and soda. She says she wasn’t really planning on drinking that much because she had a job to work that morning, but the vodka soda was mostly soda and she decided to drink it. David then allegedly asked her into a bedroom to look at something. She says when she entered, he spun around and demanded she kiss him. She did. Then he allegedly told her to finish her drink. If you think this story is about to take a turn down Cosby Road, you’d be correct. Natasha says that the last thing she remembers was David taking the glass from her.
Natasha then alleges that she woke up a little to David Blaine allegedly having anal sex with her, but she was too drowsy to do anything. When she finally gained full consciousness the next morning, she claims she felt stoned. She found David shirtless on the edge of the bed, and he casually complimented her breasts, saying “You have really nice tits.” Natasha claims she has run into David several times since their encounter in 2004, with one time David allegedly telling her she was good in bed.
Natasha, now 34, says the incident left her a mess. She started drinking, getting anxious and fearful around men, lashing out at people, and stopped eating. At 24, she quit modeling.
After three years of therapy, she decided to report her alleged rape last November. There is no statute of limitations on sex crimes in the UK. Natasha says she waited 13 years to report, because she always felt like it was her fault that it happened.
The Daily Beast says that Scotland Yard is currently investigating. Police have reportedly asked David Blaine to come to the UK to be interviewed. The Daily Beast reached out to David Blaine by phone, and he responded to the allegations by saying:
“Wow…there’s absolutely nothing…that’s crazy.”
No David, crazy is swallowing frogs at a tech industry event. This is serious.
ABC News says that David Blaine’s lawyer Marty Singer has released a statement about the allegation from Natasha Prince. Unsurprisingly, David Blaine denies he did anything bad.
“My client vehemently denies that he raped or sexually assaulted any woman, ever, and he specifically denies raping a woman in 2004. If, in fact, there is any police investigation, my client will fully cooperate because he has nothing to hide.”
Not only is David Blaine an alleged creep, he’s also a long-time member of Leonardo DiCaprio’s Pussy Posse. Well this news is sure to put a damper on the next posse meeting. Especially Natasha’s allegation of being drugged. Something tells me David’s membership is about to get revoked. “I’m sorry David, but dude, you’re an adult magician. You’re already extremely creepy and weird enough as it is.”
