Aaron Carter Has Been Getting Healthy

Last week, Aaron Carter checked himself out of rehab after two weeks. Any mental alarm bells that were set off by that news have perhaps een quieted a bit after seeing the picture above. On Saturday, Aaron Instagrammed a before and after pic, showing the progress he’s made since he decided to get help (real help, that is) last month for several issues. Aaron is still showing off a sloppy DIY frosted streak job, but let’s focus on what matters.

Aaron wrote this of his 30 pound weight gain:

“From 115 pounds to 145. In a few weeks. On the left 115 on the right 145. Continuing to focus on myself and my health. Sorry I couldn’t wait to show you till 2018 #proudofmyself #StressFree I missed you all so much. Needed some time to heal and this is a direct result.”

When Aaron was looking skinnier before, he blamed it on a hiatal hernia. Aaron with an extra 30 pounds also kind of looks a little more like Nick Carter now. Although I’m not sure if that’s the sort of thing Aaron would take as a compliment.

Whatever Aaron is doing seems to be working for him. Maybe it’s because he switched up his diet from benzos for burgers.

I wonder if part of his recovery plan also included coping mechanisms to deal with his habit of publicly declaring his love for famous actresses? “Aaron, from now on, let the actresses contact you, okay? Except maybe in the case of your former girlfriend Lindsay Lohan; remember, you’re trying to get better, not worse.
