Oprah Kind Of Hinted About Running For President Again

It’s 2017. Donald Trump is our president, Antonio Sabato Jr. is running for Congress, and Kid Rock could make it to the Senate. Hell, at this point, Kirk Cameron should just get appointed as Secretary of Defense, and every insufferable F-list white dude will be in Washington! But look into your Democratic Party crystal ball for 2020, and you might find Oprah.

Yesterday, Oprah tweeted a link to a New York Post column saying she was the Democrats’ best hope for 2020.

Oprah has joined her spirit sister Gayle King over on CBS and is now a contributor for 60 Minutes. Her first segment aired on Sunday, and it involved Oprah moderating a panel with Michigan voters over their political differences. The New York Post column the Big O referenced basically fapped to the idea that she is the only chance Dems have in pulling off a victory in 2020. I think it’s just because the writer wants to see Mama O hand out Priuses to an entire convention hall when she accepts the nomination. This ain’t the first time she’s hinted at a run, either! The Mighty O was on The David Rubenstein Show earlier this year, and she basically said it wasn’t out of the possibility since it’s now possible for a scarecrow to have a shot at the White House.

Gayle kinda threw ice cold water on that when she said her BFF was only joking and “that ain’t never happening.” Oprah even said, “I will never run for public office.” Dammit, ladies! Don’t ruin our dreams! If you think Trump gets ratings with his Twitter account, just imagine what Washington would be like if cabinet positions are announced like, “And for Secretary of the Interior, I nominate….NAAAAAATE BURKUSSSSSS!
