Corinne Will Be Back For “Bachelor In Paradise”, But Only For A Reunion Episode

When we last left the Bachelor in Paradise saga, Warner Bros. released a statement claiming they didn’t believe a sexual assault happened between two contestants (Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson) and that filming would resume. New rules were put in place for filming, like a two-drink per hour maximum, and producer permission had to be granted before contestants went to the boom boom room. Most of the Season 4 cast was returning, except for DeMario. It wasn’t really known if Corinne would be back or not. Well, Corinne will be back, but only for one episode.
Corinne released a statement to E! News today about her return, saying: “I am very happy to be appearing on the Bachelor In Paradise Special.” E! News says that both Corinne and DeMario will appear in a reunion special to talk about what happened during that first weekend of filming. That has much potential to be awkward and uncomfortable, but a source tells E! Corinne isn’t the least bit stressed about it.
“She’s excited to finally come out and speak.” The source said there’s “no bad blood” between Corinne and the Bachelor in Paradise team, explaining, “They invited her to appear on the reunion and she wants to go. It’s not a contractual thing. She’s still close with her Bachelor family. She’s looking forward to being back.”
The source adds that it’s “not a big deal” to be reuniting with DeMario, because “she never blamed him for anything.” Two weeks ago, Corinne announced that her legal team had concluded their investigation to her satisfaction, and she wouldn’t be pursing further legal action.
Bachelor in Paradise was supposed to premiere on August 8th, but it will now have a two-night premiere on August 14th and 15th.
E! News doesn’t say when this Very Special Episode of Bachelor in Paradise will air. They also don’t say where this reunion special will take place. Like, I would hope it takes place in Mexico, aka the paradise in Bachelor in Paradise. I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of the Bachelor in Paradise budget was spent on taking care of this PR nightmare. But it would totally suck to agree to a reunion special, get all excited for your mini vacation in Mexico, and then realize they’re actually just filming your segment at a studio in Burbank.
