Iggy Azalea Is Recording A Song With Her Former Nemesis Azealia Banks
Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks used to hate each other more than spellcheck hates their names. But then Iggy decided she didn’t want to hate Azealia anymore, and Azealia agreed to stop hating on Iggy. Apparently things are so good between them, they’re working on a song together.
On Monday, Iggy took to Snapchat to announce that Azealia would be making an appearance on her upcoming album Digital Distortion, that has been in the works since 2015.
Iggy’s fans couldn’t understand why Iggy would be so enthusiastic about working with someone who has previously threatened to kill her and hissed a million more hateful things her way. Iggy doesn’t care about the past. She’s reaching out in an attempt to drum up a little attention for an album people lost interest in years ago…er, I mean, make peace for the future.
If you cant understand my desire to turn YEARS worth of negativity into a positive interaction then thats your loss my dear. peace!

This has been something extremely negative for so long, if there is a way to make it positive and also be creative together, im here for it.

Azealia’s been busy. She’s also collaborating on something with Shea Coulee from RuPaul’s Drag Race. But according to Azealia, the thing with Iggy hasn’t been confirmed yet.
I’m still skeptical about all of this. It feels like a trap that both sides are trying to set. Iggy’s plan is to lure Azealia into the studio, while Azealia’s plan is to earn Iggy’s trust by pretending to be excited about this #Grrlpower stunt. But I hope not! I would love to see Iggy make nice with everyone from her past and record one, big We Are The World-style track with her enemies. Azealia, Papa John’s, Steve Madden and anyone has listened to Mo Bounce.
