Alan Thicke’s Widow And His Sons Are Fighting Over A Weed Farm

Robin Thicke and his older brother Brennan have been trying really hard to paint Alan Thicke’s widow Tanya Callau as a demon from Gold Digging Hell. They’ve accused her of threatening to call the tabloids unless the details of her prenup were changed, and have threatened to sue to keep her hands off Alan’s estate. Tanya shot back, accusing them of launching a smear campaign against her, and confessed that she and Alan were trying to have a child before he died.

Tanya’s lawyer Adam Streisand tells TMZ that the reason why Robin and Brennan are smearing Tanya’s name has nothing to do with wanting more from the estate; they’re just seeking revenge on her because she won’t let them grow pot at Alan’s Santa Barbara ranch. There’s a Growing Pains joke in there somewhere, I know it.

When Alan passed in December, he left equal shares of his 11-acre Carpinteria ranch to his three sons. Tanya was given 25% of the ranch, plus the furnishings inside, and was permitted to live there so long as she paid the expenses and took care of the property. Robin and Brennan allegedly want to take their shares and turn Alan’s ranch into a pot farm. Tanya has been actively trying to squash Robin and Brenna’s weed farm dream because she claims Alan would have disapproved of growing weed at his house.

Tanya’s lawyer also denies she’s trying to change her prenup. She’s happy with the 25% share in the ranch, and she has no issues with the prenup she signed. She’s also still really mad about Robin and Brennan playing the gold digger angle, since she was with Alan for 17 years and married for 11.

Maybe Tanya is being too hasty here. After all, there is a lot of money to be made from weed. I know she says she doesn’t need money, but the expenses on an 11-acre ranch can’t be cheap. Plus they could always find a way to honor Alan’s memory through it, like naming certain strains after him. I think Jason Satever and Sticky Ick of the Night both have a nice ring to it. And Tanya, are you sure Alan wouldn’t have wanted pot grown at his house?
