This week, Bow Wow (formerly Lil, currently going by his real name, Shad Moss) was dragged up and down the internet after he was caught trying to fake a life of luxury on Instagram. On Monday, Bow Wow posted a braggy picture of a private jet and claimed that he was flying to New York to do press for Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta. He was telling the truth about flying to New York; he was lying about how he was getting there. The following day, Twitter user @Al_Khee tweeted a Snapchat showing that Bow Wow had actually been flying commercial. That jet picture? Bow Wow ripped it off a website. And that’s how this week’s hottest meme, #BowWowChallenge, was born.

Bow Wow was asked about the internet strangers gleefully trolling him during a visit to Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning radio show this morning. According to Bow Wow, who joked that he took the Greyhound bus to the studio, he loves the #BowWowChallenge. He also tried to explain why he faked a private jet picture in the first place. Hint: It’s something about science. Watch out Bill Nye the Science Guy, we got Bow Wow the Science Hound over here.

“I love it, because people don’t understand the scientific method to my madness. Number one, I’m about to have to the biggest show on WE TV, period. It’s a scientific method to my madness. You gotta just watch the show. Everything is for the show.”

When asked if the jet picture was Bow Wow’s attempt at trolling, Bow Wow replied: “You gotta watch the show.” Co-host Peter Rosenberg chimed in and said he’s known Bow Wow for a long time and that he knows Bow Wow is too smart to think he could get away with such a busted lie, to which Bow Wow nodded in agreement.

Bow Wow also doesn’t really care that he’s been dragged so many times he can technically be classified as a trailer. He says it doesn’t affect him, the women, or his bank account. And I’m sure he’d be happy to show proof of that, just as soon as his Google image search returns results for “pic of sexy woman” and “pic of big bank account balance.
