Katy Perry Recorded A Song With Calvin Harris For His New Album

Calvin Harris, former publicity boyfriend of Taylor Swift and guy who makes music, announced the release of his fifth album called Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 on Instagram yesterday. The video included a list of artists who will make an appearance, and wouldn’t you know whose name happened to pop up between Pharrell Williams and Big Sean? Oh, just his ex-girlfriend’s main enemy Katy Perry.

Katy Perry recently told Entertainment Weekly that her upcoming album is all about how she’s so much more mature now and implied that she might not rip on Taylor via song. Her album’s songs, maybe. But she didn’t say anything about other people’s albums.

Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift’s relationship ended with maximum messiness. Calvin upgraded the situation to Drama Deluxe by publicly calling Taylor out for playing the victim regarding This Is What You Came For and attempting to throw him under the bus like she did with Katy Perry on Bad Blood. Katy Perry seems like a very deliberate choice on Calvin’s part. And it’s not just Katy, either. Calvin really stacked the deck with people who have earned a place on Taylor’s burn book. In February, Frank Ocean slapped at the Grammys for giving Taylor the award for Album of the Year. Ariana Grande was allegedly denied access to Taylor and her mean girl squad at an MTV VMA afterparty in 2015. Nicki Minaj once went off on Taylor on Twitter.

I would like to see who else was on his Piss Taylor Off list. I’m thinking Calvin also tried to get John Mayer, Kanye West, and a choir made up of Etsy sellers.
