Joe Scarborough And Mika Brzezinski Are Engaged

Sources close to Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski tell Page Six that they’re getting married. “Well well well” thought everyone who read a recent blind item.

Page Six’s source says that 54-year-old Joe proposed to 50-year-old Mika during a trip to the south of France and Monaco last weekend. Joe got down on one knee and asked Mika to be the co-host of his life, aka his wife. He didn’t ask that, but I wish he had, because it would work perfect with this next part that I totally made up. Mika responded to Joe by turning to a fake camera and announcing: “Coming up after the break, I say yes, yes, a thousand times yes!” The source says this of their engagement:

“They came back from the trip on Cloud Nine. There are no wedding plans as of yet, they are just telling their families the happy news. Mika turned 50 and realized she wanted to move forward with her life and spend every minute with Joe, and not just at work.”

This will be Joe’s third marriage and Mika’s second. They officially came out as a couple after Mika quietly split from her husband of 23 years last June. They’ll have six kids between the two of them. It’s just like The Brady Bunch. Conveniently for Mika, she’s already got the Carol Brady hair.

So Joe and Mika are so in love and want to spend every second of their day close enough to blow kisses to each other. I’m sure Morning Joe’s third wheel Willie Geist is thrilled about that. I bet he’s asking the MSNBC handyman to put a good lock on his dressing room door while Joe and Mika are off on their honeymoon. Willie doesn’t want to walk in on two horny newlyweds doing it on his couch.
