Hot Slut Of The Day!

Charlie Pisano, the dandy dog who became a giant internet star (sort of, not really) after she frazzled the nerves of an NBC talking political head!

If I got on a flight and sat next to a sophisticated lady dog in a pink bow tie, I’d immediately fancy up my usual travelin’ outfit (a hoodie, pajama jeans and slipper socks) with an ascot quickly made from a napkin, because you should always dress up when in the presence of a regal bitch. But when NBC political analyst Mark Halperin sat next to a sophisticated lady dog in a pink bow tie on a Delta red eye flight from LAX to NYC, he wasn’t amused at all. Mark tweeted my new iPhone wallpaper picture (above) and added the words, “Seriously, @delta??!?” Mark didn’t mean “seriously” in a “Seriously, Delta, sitting me next to a glamorous being who is messing with my self-esteem during a red eye?” kind of way. He probably meant it in a “Seriously, I can’t believe this shit” kind of way.

Slate says that Lady Charlie’s human is Anthony Pisano, who’s a Delta flight attendant, and regularly travels with his refined service pooch. Anthony says that he always buys Lady Charlie her own seat so that she’s not in anyone’s way. For the red eye flight from LAX to NYC, Anthony wasn’t traveling as an employee and he bought two full-price first class tickets for himself and Lady Charlie. Thank the fuck that my dog can’t read, because he’d shit on my shoes after finding out that some pooches travel first class in their own seat while he has to travel steerage-style in a busted down bag from Petsmart under the seat in front of me.

Anthony and his lavish Bernadoodle were sitting across the first class aisle from each other and Mark had the seat next to Charlie. (That’s Anthony’s knee in the picture, but he says he was just helping Charlie to settle in.) Anthony says that Mark was highly rude from the beginning. I’d rather sit next to a dog than a human, but some tricks wouldn’t. Mark refused to sit next to Lady Charlie and it wasn’t because he’s allergic to her or anything. Mark bitched to the flight attendant about Lady Charlie, and he ended up switching seats with Anthony, which should’ve happened from the beginning. Anthony said this about Lady Charlie’s temporary first class rival:

Next thing you know the lead flight attendant asked if I minded giving halperin 6A. It was so strange he wouldn’t even look or speak to me about it. If he would have asked me I would have obliged, no big deal. I couldn’t believe how rude this guy was carrying on as I sat right next to him. So I obliged, he moved into 6A and left his shoes and a mess in his little first class cubicle area. I politely brought him his shoes and belongings to which he literally looked the other way and that was that.

When Mark got shit for hating on Lady Charlie, he backpedaled a bit by tweeting: “This dog is cute & service, companion & emotional support dogs= best souls on Earth.Point was,on long flt Delta sat dog apart from its owner.”

And this dramatic and traumatic tale of first class struggles came to an end with Charlie sending a sweet (but probably sarcastic) note to Mark:

This riveting battle between fancies is probably not over. I’m sure that Ryan Murphy is going to make it the focus of season 3 of Feud since it’s THAT dramatic and thrilling. But the good press keeps coming in for Delta. You can fly United and leave the plane with a busted face (but later get a multi-million dollar settlement, probably) or you can luxuriously fly with Delta and get an intimate concert from Kenny G and sit next to a genteel and elegant lady who makes the characters on Downton Abbey look like uncouth trash!
