Jennifer Lawrence And Her 48-Year-Old Boyfriend Get Along Because She’s “Mature”

We were recently reminded that Jennifer Lawrence is still with Darren Aronofsky. Jennifer and Darren seem to be pretty private people; for instance, they only put on a PDA show for the paps every couple of months. When she has talked about her relationship, it has been very minimally. So those who really want to know about Jennifer’s relationship with Darren have to wait for sources to fill them in on the details. Like if their 22-year age difference is awkward for them. Is it though?!?! I need to know. Thankfully People has a source who can reassure us that it’s not awkward.

People says Jennifer and Darren are getting “serious” after almost 6 months of dating and it’s because they’re both serious people. A source says that Jennifer is “comfortable with an older guy” because she is “mature and focused” and is into his brain.

“Jen is a serious actress and being around another person in the business who is intense about what he does has been good for her. I don’t know how far it will go but as of now they are a really good match, two talented people who love their work and are respected for it.

Jen has been mesmerized by his talent and brains since she started working with him.”

Another source explains that they keep to themselves and “don’t seem to want a lot of attention.

That whole thing about Jennifer being a serious, mature girlfriend totally contradicts what I know about Jennifer Lawrence. This is the same woman who once said she was looking for a man who would fart in front of her. I really hope that Darren is still farting in front of her. Maturity or not, sniffing farts is what makes Jennifer Jennifer. I mean, what’s next? Jennifer walking down a red carpet all the way to the end without tripping? I shudder at the thought.
