The Taco Bell Wrapper Wedding Dress!

Believe it or not, but Taco Bell has never built a wedding chapel in one of their restaurants before. That’s shocking, because when many think of Taco Bell, they think of explosive diarrhea and explosive diarrhea is kind of a metaphor for marriage. Beginning this summer, couples will finally be able to say, “I do,” at the place that regularly makes many say, “I doo doo.” Taco Bell Cantina in Las Vegas will offer up a wedding package for the price of just six hundred $1 beefy mini quesadillas. For that price, you get a ceremony in the upstairs chapel, a reception for 15 and other crap.

To promote their new highly romantic Las Vegas wedding package, Taco Bell is doing a contest where one couple will win the wedding package and a trip to Las Vegas. Couples who want to win have to sell themselves in either a video or image posted on social media. The people are voting on which couple they think should get the wedding of their Make A Run For The Border dreams. Diane Nguyen made a good case of her and her fiancé, Nick Ward, when she created a custom, one-of-a-kind stunning fast food couture wedding gown made entirely of Taco Bell wrappers. Say yes to the dress, and say yes to the mess you’re going to make in that dress from eating all that Taco Bell to get those wrappers!

Taco Bell’s wedding package also includes a bouquet and garter made of hot sauce packets, and Diane’s gorgeous Taco Bell wrapper creation will go perfect with ’em.

Diane even posted a picture of herself working that wedding gown from the Haus of Taco Bell during a wedding rehearsal (of sorts) with her fiancé.

Diane’s dress is everywhere, so she and Nick have a good chance at winning, unless someone comes along with a tuxedo and a dress made out of taco shells glued together with Pintos ‘N Cheese. Diane tells HuffPo that the wrappers are actually all brand new and her exquisite gown took around six hours to make. Diane was inspired by Project Runway and RuPaul’s Drag Race.

“A very nice manager donated 400 wrappers to us in exchange for a combo meal purchase. We already had the other materials (hot glue, an old corset, and a white sheet) on hand, so it cost around $10!”

I hate going to weddings, mostly, but I wouldn’t mind going to Diane and Nick’s. The food will be better than most wedding receptions and at the end of night, if I wanted to take home a piece of the Cinnabon delights and Cinnamon Twists wedding cake, I could just say to Diane, “Girl, can I have one of the wrapper flowers from your gorgeous dress to wrap up this piece of cake?
