Ariana Grande Might Be Engaged

Ariana Grande has a tour that’s starting next month. And what do you know? She just so happened to promote it this weekend with a couple pictures of her wearing a sparkly ring on that finger. Someone’s a graduate of Subtlety’s Finest School of PR Stunts.

Ariana’s Dangerous Woman Tour opens on February 2 in Arizona and yesterday she posted a picture of herself looking like an Atlantic City knock-off of a Playboy Bunny who accidentally locked herself out of her motel room. But it’s her focus-stealing ring that’s getting attention.

She posted a similar picture, this time in black and white, right after the first. While many of her fans were asking which doll house furniture store she was registered at, one fan pointed out that her ring looks like it could be the one that her Nonna had made for her a couple years ago in memory of her grandfather. If so, then I’m sure it was purely, completely unintentional that Ariana decided to wear it on her ring finger. Just a total coincidence, you know? Ariana herself has said nothing about whether or not she’s engaged.

It wouldn’t be that strange if Ariana was engaged. Ariana has been with her boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, for a few months now. She’s also 23 and famous, which is the ideal circumstances for a first mistake marriage. Not to mention that a full-commitment to being the MiniPops version of Mariah Carey means getting married at 23 like Mariah did. The only difference is that I don’t know if Mac Miller would be able to give her the half-million dollar wedding of her dreams like Tommy Mottola gave Mariah. Based solely on that picture of Ariana and Mac above, I feel like they might be looking at more of a ‘ceremony officiated by their friend Skoal in the parking lot of the nice Las Vegas Denny’s’ kind of thing.
