Kirsten Dunst And Jesse Plemons May Be Getting Married In Real-Life

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons played two married dummies named Peggy and Ed on the second season of Fargo, and their whole relationship centered around them bumbling their way through the cover-up of a whoopsie-murder. Spending months talking about body-disposal, blood-removal, and the best way not to get revenge-murdered by farmers was the sort of thing that brought them close together. How could it not? They reportedly hooked up in real-life after the show ended, and now there’s a rumor that they’re engaged. Kirsten Dunst may be one step closer to living out that wifey life she’s always dreamed of.

A source tells Page Six says they got engaged during Golden Globes weekend. Although People seems to think it might have happened earlier than that, considering Kirsten was seen with a ring on that finger at the Palm Springs Film Festival a week before the Golden Globes. 34-year-old Kirsten and 28-year-old Jesse got together about a month after she called it quits with Garrett Hedlund. They’ve been together for about eight months. Their reps wouldn’t confirm whether or not they’re engaged. So I guess we’re going to have to wait for a pap to catch a good clear shot of Kirsten’s ring finger during her next smoke break for confirmation on that.

This actually makes sense to me. For one, they’re both former child actors. You can do as much prestige television as you want, Jesse, but none of us will ever forget Like Mike! Also, I believe it’s Hollywood law that you get engaged at least once to one of your co-stars. Not to mention that being pretend married on Fargo has prepared Kirsten for any future surprises. Like, she’ll never have to wonder what Jesse will look like when he inevitably lets himself go after their 4th anniversary and starts wearing gross underwear around the house.
