Pink Gave Birth To A Lil’ Whiskey Baby

You’ll find out in a moment how very fitting it is that that picture of mama and baby has been thrown under a murky brown filter. Pink announced yesterday on Instagram that the baby she has been growing inside her for the past 9 months has arrived. Pink and her husband Carey Hart both posted the same picture of Pink holding their second baby, a son, and let everyone know he was born on December 26th. And the name they wrote on the birth certificate is: Jameson Moon Hart. Well I just got a craving to pour some party juice into my morning can of ginger ale. Thanks, Pink and Carey!

Pink and Carey didn’t explain Baby Jameson’s name any further, but yes, they sort of named him after the whiskey. Back in 2010 when Pink was pregnant with their first kid, Willow Sage, she told Access Hollywood that if she gave birth to a boy, it would be named Jameson.

“My dad’s name is James, and my brother’s name is Jason. [Carey and I] are both Irish, Carey’s middle name is Jason, and Jameson – we like whiskey. That’s a no brainer.”

As for Moon, I curse Pink and Carey Hart out for the number of corny “Pink is over the (Jameson) Moon!” headlines I’ll probably read today. But aside from that, I’m totally into that name. And I sort of noticed a pattern in Pink and Carey Hart’s baby names. Willow and Jameson sound like they were thought up during a boozy dirtbike bonfire in the forest by a guy in a Lynyrd Skynyrd t-shirt. Meanwhile, Sage and Moon sound like the two most-popular incenses at a healing crystal shop called Whyspirz. I wonder who was responsible for the middle names? Probably Carey. You know he’s zipping around on that motocross bike with a protective pink quartz in his pocket.
