The Kardashians Are Trying To Prevent Blac Chyna From Kashing In On Their Last Name

Uh oh, do you hear that? That low rumbling sound that tells you there’s a disturbance in the fame whore force? I believe that sound is caused by Kim and Khloe Kardashian angrily bouncing their Hoppy Ball butts down to their lawyer’s office while Kourtney Kardashian trails half a mile behind them (she gets distracted in the outside).

According to TMZ, the Kardashians are afraid of getting beaten at their own #getmoneybitch game by Blac Chyna, and they want to put a stop to it. In May, Blac Chyna filed papers to trademark the name “Angela Renee Kardashian.” Angela is Blac’s real name and Kardashian will be her legal last name if she marries Rob Kardashian. Chyna has already guaranteed herself 18 years of Kardashian Kash by giving birth to Baby Dream, but she could always use a little more for her retirement fund. Kim and Co. aren’t happy that their soon-to-be sister-in-law is trying to profit off their name. TMZ says Kim, Khloe and Kourtney’s companies have filed their papers objecting to the trademark. Between this and the divorce UsWeekly thinks Kim will soon be filing for from Kanye West, it looks like Kim’s lawyers are in for a very busy 2017.

The documents claim that seeing the name Angela Kardashian™ would be damaging to their brand and would cause “irreparable injury” to their reputation. They also accuse Chyna of “deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity” of the Kardashian name.

I don’t think that Kris Jenner would ever prevent one of her Kardashian-adjacent koven members from getting money, which leads me to believe this is actually just a family initiation test before Chyna and Rob get married. If Chyna really wants a trademark on that family name, she needs to prove how dirty she’s willing to get for it. Is she so money-hungry that she’s willing to drag her future family to court? “Well Chyna, it’s clear that you’ll stoop pretty low for a buck. You really are one of us! Welcome to the family, sister!”
