Benjamin McKenzie And Morena Baccarin Are Officially Engaged

November 29, 2016 / Posted by:

These two move faster than a Pimp Mama Kris in a money booth. Most respectable types want you to get a divorce before you get married and have a new baby, but Morena Baccarin and Benjamin McKenzie decided on baby first, divorce second, and now they’re getting around to that new marriage!

You’ll recognize these two from their work together on Gotham if you watch that show. Benjamin used to be on The OC and Morena was in the reboot before they started working together and humping one another. It was big news that Morena got pregnant with Ben’s kid while she was still married to director Austin Chick. After some back and forth over the custody of her kid with Austin, that mess seems to be settled.

So Morena gave birth to her and Ben’s daughter, Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan, in March and now she’s ready for a wedding. Morena wore a diamond ring on THAT finger to the Gotham Independent Film Awards in NYC last night and their reps confirmed to US Weekly that they’re engaged.

Gotham costars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are officially engaged, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.

“They are very happily engaged,” a source tells Us.

No word yet on whether the Baccarin/McKenzie nuptials will include all the necessary wedding accouterments (fist fights, all-you-can-drink booze buffet, a fancy dog dressed as Shauna Sand) but I’m sure we’ll hear about it soon enough. If there’s one thing that keeps a lower tier celebrity in the limelight it’s a scandalous personal life. And thank God for that, otherwise we’d never hear from Tori Spelling or Lady Falcor ever again. Quelle horreur!
