Kanye West Might Not Be Doing So Well

November 25, 2016 / Posted by:

Kanye West checked into the UCLA Medical Center on Monday for what started as a psychiatric evaluation (or to deal with “exhaustion“, if you’re getting your news from People). Eventually we learned that Kanye’s doctor, Dr. Michael Farzam, called the paramedics and felt like he needed to be put on a 5150 hold. TMZ has an update for anyone who still doesn’t think Kanye’s situation is that serious – *cough* People’s sources *cough*.

Sources told TMZ yesterday that Kanye will probably be in the hospital until at least the end of the week. The sources hint that Kanye’s current situation isn’t as simple as Kanye’s doctor led everyone to believe. Kanye’s doctor told police during the incident on Monday that Kanye’s behavior was a “temporary psychosis” triggered by his tour-cancelling exhaustion.

TMZ’s sources claim that Kanye’s issues are a lot deeper and a lot less “temporary” than what his doctor said. They also say that Kanye’s mental health issues are significant enough that his insurance company will most definitely be covering the cost of the losses from his cancelled Saint Pablo tour dates.

Kanye’s extended hospital stay made for some disappointed Kardashians and Jenners yesterday. TMZ says they heard that the koven wanted Kanye home for Thanksgiving dinner yesterday, because oh what a lucrative photo opportunity that would be! That didn’t happen. Kanye spent Thanksgiving in the hospital.

The Kardashians and Jenners ended up having a bunch of separate Thanksgiving dinners, which might have been triggered by the fact that the head fame whore (Kim Kardashian) was busy dealing with her husband’s shit and wouldn’t be present. No word on whether Kim spent Thanksgiving at the hospital with Kanye or not. But if she did, I’m sure her sisters were very jealous. Imagine having the option of grabbing a quick post-turkey lipo job in the same building you had dinner? So convenient!
