Mariah Carey And Bryan Tanaka Were Seen Acting Like A Couple This Weekend

Shortly after Mariah Carey called it quits with her human bank machine James Packer, there were rumors that one of the reasons why things went sour was because she was getting a little too close with one of her Vegas backup dancers, Bryan Tanaka. Mariah reportedly swore on her most special Hello Kitty crystal jewelry-inspecting loupe that she never got with Bryan while she was engaged to James. Now that James is sort-of out of the picture, Mariah and Bryan have been getting even closer. Mariah may still be trying to get $50 million out of James, but she’s also apparently trying to get with Bryan too.

A source tells Page Six says that Mariah and Bryan were seen holding hands at Air B&B’s Open Spotlight event on Saturday, and that they looked like they’re “legit dating.” If holding hands was the only sign, I’d be wary to of the legitimacy of their dating. After all, Bryan could have just been assisting Mariah with her balance, since she’s not often used to walking places. But another source says it continued to get more couple-y for them.

After the Air B&B event, Mariah and Bryan went to dinner with her allegedly diabolical manager Stella Bulochnikov and her kids. Bryan reportedly had his arm around Mariah all night, and she did a supremely Mariah thing by feeding him dessert.

ET says that wasn’t Mariah and Bryan’s only date this weekend. Mariah and Bryan went out for pizza on Friday. I don’t know who paid for dinner, but I hope Bryan at least offered. Mariah may not “know” Jennifer Lopez, but I’d like to think she knows enough to learn from JLo’s mistakes and look out for the early warning signs of a gold-digging backup dancer trap.

Here’s Mariah looking like the picture Wendy Williams brings to the surgeon at Air B&B’s Open Spotlight event on Saturday.
