Mariah Carey Feels That James Packer Is Trying To Ruin Her Christmas
There are two indicators that the holiday season has begun. One would be July 5th (am I right, retail outlets?) and the other is Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” being played on a continuous loop everywhere and anywhere you go. Unfortunately, that song’s relentless and maddening yuletide joy might be a little dulled this year for the lamb leaderess. ET reports that Mimi feels that James Packer is trying to RUIN Christmas for her!
Mariah and James are currently locked in a legal battle stemming from their acrimonious split. Mariah is reportedly looking to stuff her Spanx with the amount allocated her in her prenuptial agreement with the Australian Frankenstein. 50 million! They never even made it down the aisle! How would Mariah even find the space for that much cash in her Spanx bodysuit when her balls are so big?
James isn’t looking to pay Mimi for being his diamond carrier, so they’ve come to a negotiation impasse. How is she supposed to focus on supervising the construction of 25 different trampy Mrs. Claus outfits (it’s like her version of an advent calendar) when this meanie is killing her Christmas?
A source close to the former couple says that the two have come to a standstill regarding financial negotiations, and that’s taking a toll on Carey.
“[Packer] is causing Mariah severe emotional distress especially at such an important time of her life,” the source says. “He knows she is the queen of the holiday season and she knows he’s trying to ruin it for her.”
The “source” (aka Mariah furiously dictating to a minion pounding away on a pink Hello Kitty laptop) referring to Mariah as “the queen of the holiday season” is truly the holiday gift that keeps on giving. One can picture Mariah kicking Santa out of his sleigh with one shiny, control top pantyhosed-leg so she can use it for her spectacular arrival on an NBC Christmas special.
Mariah and James are also supposed to be fighting over “Carey’s $10 million engagement ring, her Los Angeles-area housing” and “the singer’s upcoming reality show.”
ET says that Mariah’s show on E! chronicles the wedding that never was and James wants any footage or reference to him taken out of it. Her response to that request was probably along the lines of her response to him wanting his diamond back – a taunting Instagram post from yesterday showing off the ring that is the very essence of “deal with it.”
Mariah also wants James to pay up for the mansion in Calabasas (why does everyone move to Kardashian Central?) that they leased together.
“He left her with a pile of expenses. He abandoned her with a house full of staff and had to pay for that security.”
A source previously told ET that “this whole $50 million thing and other noise is a distraction to try and rationalize what she is asking for.”
Nevertheless, Lisa Frankincense is going to nutcracker soldier on and keep it festive, dahlings. She’s reportedly planning her annual holiday sojourn to Aspen so she can wander around town looking like a slutty polar bear for the paparazzi and has already started the decorating process before we even arrived at Thanksgiving.
“Queen of the holiday season” Mariah Carey’s Christmastime struggle IS the story they should animate and show every December, instead of that Rankin/Bass bullshit.
She’s also reportedly labeled Jams as an “opportunist” according to TMZ.
The “settlement” negotiations between Mariah Carey and ex-fiance James Packer have broken down, and there are now threats of lawsuits, with Mariah accusing James of being a “lying opportunist.”
And she blames James for coming between her and her South American lambs. And her money.
Mariah demanded $50 million from James, claiming he uprooted her life from New York and caused her emotional distress that caused her to cancel the South American leg of her world tour. Our James sources say the tour cancellations were due to poor ticket sales, not distress.
