Kid Cudi Had Something To Say About Drake’s Diss
Nothing brings out the pre-school antics of humanity like a good ol’ hip hop beef, even though most beef these days tastes like discounted grey colored ground chuck from the dollar store. Today’s steaming pile of manufactured drama is brought to you courtesy of the Champagne Papi Drake and Kid Cudi. You will, of course, remember how the two of these opposite ends of the high school clique spectrum mu’fuckas have been going back and forth for a while now. First, Cudi came for Drake and Kanye West last month by informing the world that those two dudes are phonies with ghostwriters at their beck and call. Yeezy and Drake both clapped back with separate ‘UH UH!!!’ statements to stroke their own egos and discounted Cudi as a lying, jealous loser with no friends.
Eventually, because “his life is dope and he does dope shit,” Kanye got over it and moved onto more wacky adventures. Cudi also moved forward to deal with longstanding mental health issues by checking himself into rehab earlier this month for depression and suicidal thoughts, which he shared on Twitter with his followers. Well, why he do that? Because that’s when the long lost Get Along Gang chipmunk Drake came a’ callin’ with words of disrespect in a verse from his newest track Two Birds, One Track where he dropped little digs at Cudi’s current mental health situation. You see, Drake is a messy bitch. Always has been and always will be. And the problem with messy bitches is that they talk a good game until somebody calls them out on their bullshit. And that’s exactly what Cudi has done now.
On Friday Cudi took to Twitter for the first time since entering rehab to let everyone (especially Drizzy) know that he ain’t the one for fun and games.

Being the gentleman that he is, however, Cudi followed up his initial Tweet with one of support for the love his fans have been showing him while he’s in rehab.

Cudi is slated to appear at ComplexCon in Long Beach Nov 5-6 so I’m sure he will have more to say then.
At this point I can only imagine that Drake and his infamous TwitterFingers are cooking up a messy, indirect response for Cudi. But I think it’s best Drake takes a seat, shuts the fuck up and gives this battle to Cudi. You never want to rumble with someone who doesn’t mince words because they tend to magically appear at your doorstep ready to beat you down. Then again, I think that’s the kinda shit that gives Drake wood.
