“Nils Sjoberg” Performed The Song She Wrote For Calvin Harris

Taylor Swift performed at the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas last night. Because it wouldn’t be serpentine without a little shade, Vulture reports that she performedThis Is What You Came For” for the first time. That’s the song she wrote for her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris and Rihanna under a pseudonym “Nils Sjoberg” and then outed herself as her actually having written it after they broke up. Because she must speak her truth and create as much dramz as possible!

Taylor didn’t sing that song last night to be shady, though. She did it so she could feel that close connection with her audience as they sung her beautiful lyrics back to her (or some bullshit like that).

As a songwriter, the most rewarding feeling in the world is writing something and then having the crowd sing it back to you because they know the words. It’s the coolest thing in the world. And I’ve never played this song live before, but you know it.

You’d better know it. She didn’t pull that calculating “write a song for him under an alias and let him make them all think HE wrote it and then I’ll chop it off him when I reveal I wrote it when we have the inevitable bad breakup” move for nothing! You sing along or she’ll come for YOUR professional sports team with her blonde hexes next!

Taylor reportedly had a cold which could account for her sounding a little pitchy as she plunked on her piano last night. By “a little pitchy” I mean that dogs in the immediate area began baying at the moon in a desperate plea for her to stop warbling like that.

Check out Taylor giving us a “sure, Jan” moment on why she decided to troll Calvin Harris some more and more pics of her performing in Austin, TX last night.
