Nicki Minaj Slapped At Kanye West For Living Out A Lyric From “Gold Digger”

It’s no secret that Nicki Minaj isn’t afraid to raise her hand and loudly say “Um, EXCUSE ME!” when she sees something that sets her off. Like calling out ass acceptability standards, or time the MTV VMAs gave Taylor Swift more nominations than her. Now she’s letting everyone know how she feels about Kanye West marrying the metaphorical “white girl” from his 2005 song Gold Digger. Not surprisingly, Nicki’s not having it.

Nicki spoke to Marie Claire (via UsWeekly) about several double standards that are currently chapping her stress ball butt. The first swipe she took was at Kim Kardashian. Nicki has posed tits and ass out countless times, and according to her, she’s always told to put it away. But when Kim did it back in March, she was applauded by some, like Sharon Osbourne, for her bravery.

“When Kim Kardashian’s naked picture came out, [Sharon Osbourne] praised it, and my fans attacked her for being such a hypocrite. So it wasn’t trashy and raunchy when a white woman did it, but it was when a black woman did it? It’s quite pathetic and sad, but that is my reality, and I’ve gotten accustomed to just shutting it down.”

That brings us to the next double standard on Nicki’s shit list. At the very end of Kanye’s song Gold Digger, he raps:

And they gone keep calling and trying, but you stay right girl
And when you get on he leave your ass for a white girl

Nicki is shaking her head at Kanye for getting with that white girl.

“I’m so tired of black women feeling that when our men get rich, they’re going to leave them for a woman of a different race. It wasn’t funny when Kanye said, ‘When he get on, he’ll leave your ass for a white girl’ — and Kanye happens to be with a white girl now. It wasn’t funny when he said it; it was the fucking truth.”

If only Nicki could see that she shouldn’t be mad at Kanye, she should pity him. After all, he’s got two kids with Kim, which means he’s permanently stuck to that obnoxious family of factory-made fame-whores. Not to mention that there’s a good chance that’s not the only lyric from Gold Digger that might come true for Kanye. What if Kim finally gets tired of Kanye’s crap and divorces him? You know every time he goes to pick up the kids and sees that Kim’s waist has gotten smaller he’ll be wondering if she’s been spending his child support money on lipo. That money was for Tyco, Kim!
