Azealia Banks Reportedly Got Kicked Out Of Russell Crowe’s Hotel Suite For Acting Like Azealia Banks (UPDATE)

Yesterday, I saw the headlineAzealia Banks Alleges Physical Abuse at the Hands of Actor Russell Crowe” and it immediately activated the question mark maker inside of my head. My brain shot out a thousand Huhs?, Whats? and Hows? And the easy answer to all of those questions is: 2016!! 2016 keeps finding extremely creative ways to show us that it’s the corner where “mess” and “fuckery” meet.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Azealia Banks claimed that noted phone thrower Russell Crowe choked her out, spit at her, called her the n-word and threw her out of his hotel suite. Multiple witnesses told TMZ that yes, Azealia was thrown out of Russell’s suite, but she was tossed through the door after she acted a mess and threatened to stab him and another guest in the froat. You mean to tell me that Russell Crowe and Azealia Banks were in the same room together and shit turned into a scene from a Bad Girls Club reunion. That’s surprising since Azealia and Russell have always been known to be reasonable and calm.

TMZ says that on Saturday night, Russell hosted a dinner party for around 10 people in his suite at a hotel in Beverly Hills. Russell invited rapper RZA, who directed him in the movie The Man with the Iron Fists. RZA brought Azealia as his plus one. RZA just signed her to his record label. Someone should’ve told RZA that bringing Azealia Banks as your plus one to a party is as good of a decision as a bottom taking a laxative right before getting into butt sex on a bed covered with brand new white sheets.

This is Azealia’s version of what happened that night (via That Grape Juice):

People who were at the party tell TMZ a very different story. They say that Russell never called her a slur and only put his paws on her because he thought she was going to throw a glass.

Witnesses say that the party went south when Azealia made fun of the music that Russell was playing and called him and another dude “boring white men.” When a lady guest defended Russell by telling Azealia to “pipe down,” it got as ugly as you’d expect. I bet that after that lady guest told Azealia to callarte la boca, the music skipped, the servers packed up and ran out of there and the other guests took cover under something sturdy.

Instead, we’re told she made an insane speech/threat to Crowe and the woman …”You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino shit.” Then for good measure, witnesses say she dropped a few n-bombs … yet Crowe remained surprisingly calm.

We’re told Azealia reached for her glass, cocked it back … and that’s when Russell had enough — he grabbed her in a bear hug and carried her out of the suite. He then called hotel security guards who removed Azealia from the grounds.

At least four guests reportedly gave statements about what went down, and they all said that Azealia was the one acting “erratic.” Even RZA supposedly said that Russell never called her the n-word.

Azealia, however, is sticking to her side of the story and claims she’s got receipts.

If Azealia’s receipts are proof that one of the songs Russell Crowe played was his hilarious version of Stars from Les Miserables, then I can understand why she lost it. Anybody would. But really, if you want receipts for why pretty much everyone believes TMZ’s side of this mess over Azealia’s, then go to the “Azealia Banks” tag on absolutely any gossip blog. There’s your receipts.

UPDATE: Azealia filed a battery report with the Beverly Hills PD and is demanding a “sowwy” from Russell Crowe. He won’t give her one because he says he did nothing wrong.
