Filming Sex A Scene Is A “Turn On” To Hugh Grant

Hugh Grant may look bored as hell in that screen grab from Notting Hill, but trust me on this one, there’s a good chance his dick is very excited.

Lots of actors say the same thing; that sex scenes are the opposite of sexy. Not Hugh Grant though. Hugh recently admitted in an interview with W magazine that filming a sex scene is practically his favorite day of shooting. Second only to the day the junior wardrobe assistant he’s been hitting on finally agrees to go on a date with him, of course. The reason he likes it so much? Because he gets off on doing something he’s not supposed to be doing. Huh, you don’t say!

“Love scenes are extremely difficult. You’re always within a millimeter of sentimentality and ‘yuck.’ But sex scenes are something else! The conventional response to sex scenes is that they’re horrible and not sexy and it’s all so unnatural. But I’ve always found filming sex scenes to be quite a turn-on. I like the experience of being in a sexual position when you’re not supposed to be in one.”

I’m starting to think I understand why all of Hugh’s female co-stars hate his ass. Imagine lying in a fake bed on set, waiting to do another take of the sex scene you just filmed, and touching a damp spot on the sheets. Was it just sweat from the boom mic guy or a spot where Hugh Grant had been rubbing his leaky boner all over it? “Oh, it’s from the boner” winks Hugh.

Here’s a bunch of pictures of Hugh working some modeling class poses for W magazine. It looks like it was shot in a hotel bar. I bet that wasn’t even a deliberate choice; the photographer probably just followed Hugh to where he happened to be cruising for his next mummy that evening. “Feel free to tag along, but try not to get in the way.
