Christopher Darden And Marcia Clark Were “More Than Friends,” So Says Christopher Darden

Since the year was 1995, I’m going to tell myself that in that picture, Marcia Clark is looking at Christopher Darden as Adina Howard’s Freak Like Me plays in her head.

The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story eluded that there may have been some sexy shit going on between Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden as they worked closely together on the case. There were also rumors during the trials. So the day after American Crime Story won a zillion Emmys, Entertainment Tonight’s Lauren Zima talked to the real Christopher Darden at his home and asked him what would it take for him to admit the whole truth about his relationship with Marcia back then.

Christopher said that they were “more than friends” and they were inseparable, which makes sense since they were prosecuting a major murder case together. He described their relationship as “fire” and “passionate,” but when Lauren asked if they ever got physical, he mumbled out a “no, no, no.” He did let us know two things: 1. They never kissed. 2. He is a disciple of Kit De Luca’sdon’t kiss on the mouth or you’ll fall in love” rule.

While Darden says he “really can’t remember the details” of his time with Clark during the trial, he was insistent that the two never kissed, sharing, “I’m not a kisser. Kissing is intimate. Kissing is more intimate than sex.”

Hmmmm… So Christopher Darden only said that they never kissed and he mumbled out a half-hearted “no” when asked if things got physical. So Christopher and Marcia could have very well gotten into some kiss-less knockin’ da boots action in their office. And yes, I said “knockin’ da boots.” This is a post about a story from the 90s. It’d be hella wack not to, beeotch!

Here’s TV Christopher Darden (Sterling K. Brown) with his wife Ryan Michelle Bathe at the Emmys, where he won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited-Series or Movie.
