Another Former Fox News Employee Is Suing Roger Ailes For Sexual Harassment

Roger Ailes is being sued by another former Fox News employee for allegedly acting like a gross piece of trash. I’ll wait while you catch your breath from the lung-clearing “NO!” you probably just shouted after reading that.

Roger Ailes no longer works at Fox News (congratulations Roger, you can now pursue your true calling as a claymation character called Creep E. McGreed from a Rankin/Bass special about Labor Day). But that doesn’t mean he can’t still get sued for the shit he allegedly pulled while he still worked there. According to Deadline, former co-host of The Five and Outnumbered Andrea Tantaros filed a lawsuit in New York yesterday against Roger Ailes and Fox News for nearly $50 million dollars. Andrea claims Fox News was a crappy place for women to work and that there was a whole lot of sexual harassment happening. She’s pointing fingers too: Andrea alleges that Roger Ailes was joined in the Gross Boys Club by Bill O’Reilly and John Roberts.

Andrea became a co-host of The Five shortly after she joined Fox News as a correspondent in 2010. Two years ago, she moved over to Outnumbered, but left in April of 2016 due to “contract issues.” According to Andrea, those “contract issues” were more likeĀ “contact issues.” Specifically, contact with Roger Ailes and all the other Fox News employees with boundary problems.

Andrea told New York Magazine earlier this month that she believes she was taken off the air after making multiple complaints in 2015 about Roger Ailes’ behavior. She also says they were pissed about not getting to pre-read the tell-all she wrote about it, Tied Up in Knots: How Getting What They Wanted Has Made Women Miserable. They decided not to “renew her contract“, so to speak, and now she’s suing them.

Thankfully Andrea’s lawsuit doesn’t go into detail about Roger Ailes’ raw ground beef crotch situation. But The Daily Mail says she does get into some specifics. According to Andrea, Fox News “masquerades as defender of traditional family values,” but “operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult” behind the scenes. She claims she was subject to many unwanted advances and had to put up with a culture of misogyny. It sounds like there was also a culture of not giving a fuck about anyone’s names either. Andrea claims that after an on-air fight with Grade-A Crazy Stacey Dash, Roger allegedly cornered her and said: “I heard you were mean to the black girl.

She also decided to accuses Roger Ailes of wrong behavior on behalf of other Fox News employees as well. Andrea claims that Roger Ailes has described The Five co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle as a “Puerto Rican whore“, “easy“, a “Puerto Rican street fighter“, and asked if she was sleeping with her The Five co-host Eric Bolling. Oh, and tons of questions about people’s sexuality. According to Andrea’s lawsuit, Roger was known to ask if people if they were gay.

Deadline says that Fox News tried to settle with Andrea earlier this year. Andrea responded by telling them to shove their settlement. And now she’s suing their asses for $50 million. She’s also after $25 million in punitive damages. “So this is what my kids mean when they say ‘savage’” thought everyone who received a copy of Andrea’s lawsuit.

If Fox News wants to start making some extra cash, they should film every meeting they take with Andrea and her lawyers and broadcast it on pay-per-view. I know there’s a lot of people who still shed a single tear over the cancellation of ABC’s Revenge, and I’m sure they’d pay good money to watch Andrea’s quest for revenge play out.
