Courtney Stodden Shaved Her Head As A Tribute To The Baby She Lost

August 8, 2016 / Posted by:

It’s been three weeks since Courtney Stodden announced that she suffered a miscarriage and since then, she’s been mourning the loss of her baby all over social media. And last night, she told her Instagram followers in a video that she wanted to step into a “new chapter” of her life fresh and to her that meant shaving her head as a symbolic gesture to the baby she lost. Many people shave their head as a way of starting anew (like the time I stupidly bleached every ounce of life outta my hair and made the decision to shave my head and start a new chapter where my mop didn’t look like an overused yellow Chore Boy.) But Courtney’s video made me wanna either call 1-800-CHZ-GRTS (that’s Daddy Spears’ help line) or scream for Dourtney to get his human some support and help.

Courtney said in her video that she decided to share why she’s shaving her head with her Instagram followers because they’ve been such a support system to her. And probably because if she didn’t tell them why, they’d see her shaved head and figure that she was starting a new career as a white Amber Rose impersonator:

If you can’t play the video above, here are the words that Courtney said:

“As you all know, I recently suffered a miscarriage and it’s had an impact on me emotionally. I’ve been thinking and I have decided that I want to give back to my angel with a symbolic gesture, and that to me is shaving my hair off, because I want to step into this new chapter in my life fresh and with anew. So I wanted to share it with you because you’re a huge support system to me and I love all of you so much. So again thank you for your support and here we go.”

And after Courtney took a machete to her weave and shaved her hair off, she showed off her new look in that picture above. When I first read the headline “Courtney Stodden Shaves Her Head” this morning, I didn’t know what to expect, but my eyeballs were pleasantly surprised when I saw her picture, because she looks like a rockabilly chola Susan Powter Real Doll and that IS the look.
