La Morena is the exquisite face of La Morena, THEE premiere line of peppers and chiles in the U.S., Mexico and parts of Europe. La Morena has been around since the 1970s, and usually the internet is a know-it-all bitch who mostly has all the answers, but I could not find information on when their mascot began making grocery shelves a much more beautiful place with her “arched to the gods” eyebrows of 100% pure perfection. I don’t even want to think of a time when La Morena wasn’t causing grocery store owners to turn up the A/C because her burning side-eye brings the heat to all of the aisles.
Speaking of that side-eye, it’s surprising that there are other brands of peppers and chiles on the store shelves along with La Morena. You would think that the others cans would take one look at La Morena throwing a “scat, bitch” side-eye at them and throw themselves off the shelves. La Morena’s side-eye IS hotter than the chiles in her can.
