Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers Has Been Suspended From Her Job, Banned From All LA Fitness Locations

Good news for everyone who likes a little schadenfreude-glazed justice to end their week. 2015 Playboy Playmate of the Year Dani Mathers redefined the term “asshole moves” by Snapchat shaming a naked woman in the change room at an LA Fitness in Universal City, CA. The internet turned on Dani, which led to her sort-of apologizing by claiming it was an “accident.” The police are investigating, and now you can count LA Fitness and Dani’s bosses at KLOS-FM in the group that aren’t feeling Dani’s “I’m sorry I got caught“-style apology. TMZ says that she’s not allowed back at either of those places right now.

Let’s start with KLOS-FM. Dani regularly appeared on KLOS-FM’s The Heidi & Frank Show. This morning the management at KLOS-FM announced that Dani has been suspended “indefinitely.” I don’t know if that’s the sort of “indefinitely” that means they’re waiting to see how this all plays out or they need time to find a stamp to mail her a Notice of Termination. Based on the congratulations they’re getting from people on Twitter for suspending Dani, I’m going to guess it’s probably the latter.

As for LA Fitness, they have more to add to their feelings from yesterday. Yesterday, a rep for LA Fitness told TMZ they were handling the situation “internally” and that they had contacted the police. Today they’re telling TMZ that Dani is no longer welcome at their gym and not just the location in Universal City – all locations. And it’s not temporary. A rep says she’s “not permitted back at any club, ever.

Not having a job or a gym to go to has clearly freed up some time in Dani’s schedule for writing, because she recently sat down and composed an email to her fellow Playboy Playmates apologizing for her recent fuck-up. According to the email, Dani calls her Snapchat shaming “a mistake“, and apologizes for the “negativity and hate” that this situation has brought forward. She says there’s no excuse for her actions, and adds that she’s kind of hiding out right now.

Dani never says exactly why she sent the apology email, but TMZ seems to think she’s scared that Playboy might take away her 2015 Playmate of the Year title. I’m thinking it’s only a matter of time before Dani gets an email from her lawyer telling her that now is not the time to be worried about losing a prize that she got from a 90-year-old man in a robe for having the nicest fake tits. “Listen, unless you can pawn that POTY title for some lawsuit cash, you need to forget about it.”
