A Playboy Playmate Is For Sorry For “Accidentally” Snapchat Shaming A Woman At The Gym
If I went to the gym, there’s a lot I wouldn’t do. I wouldn’t walk barefoot in the showers. I wouldn’t try to deadlift the biggest weight on the floor. I wouldn’t Snapchat a picture of a naked woman in the change room. 2015’s Playboy Playmate of the Year Dani Mathers, on the other hand, definitely would do that last one. Dani recently Snapchatted a naked woman changing at her gym in an attempt to get some LOLs, and now she’s in a ton of internet trouble for it. Dani may have a huge mouth, but apparently the part of her brain that makes good decisions is very small.
It all started after Dani decided to Snapchat this moment of herself and a stranger in the change room at LA Fitness in Universal City, CA. I’ve gone ahead and covered the lady in Dani’s Snapchat with the disapproving face of Hugh Hefner. Now that I think of it, I’m not sure if covering that lady with a picture of Hef’s horny old man mug is less humiliating. I’m truly sorry, random lady.
The Daily Mail says that almost instantly she was hit with a wall of pissed off people. Dani eventually deleted the Snapchat and filmed a video apologizing for what she had done. According to Dani, it was an accident. Uh huh. She also claims that she’s new to Snapchat and that it was only meant to be viewed by a friend. See: the uh huh from before. She adds that she loves the female body and would never body shame someone.
She also decided to post an apology to Facebook and Twitter. You can’t read her Facebook apology anymore, because Dani has since deleted it. As for the Twitter apologies, those are gone too. In fact, both her Twitter and Instagram account don’t appear to exist at all anymore. If the ten tons of angry comments filling up her Facebook page are any clue, I’d say she probably deleted her Twitter and Instagram in an attempt to prevent her social media presence from collapsing under the weight of so many pitchforks.
Dani might be in real, real trouble. A spokesperson for LA Fitness tells TMZ that they’ve contacted the police. They add that her actions were “appalling“, as well as a breach of both their ‘no cellphones in the change room’ rule and common decency.
Dani is obviously dumb as shit for posting a picture of a woman getting changed at the gym. But enough about her for a second. I really hope this situation with Dani doesn’t prevent naked change room lady from getting naked in the change room in the future. There’s not a whole lot of places where you can let your crotch and boobs hang out without getting dirty looks from people, and I really hope Dani Mathers hasn’t ruined that. Especially since the alternative sucks. There’s nothing worse than awkwardly trying to wrangle you bra around your still-damp-from-the-shower body while hiding under a towel too-small towel.
