It feels stupid to write or read about anything else, but reader Angela dropped this into my inbox this morning and it temporarily warmed the edges of my soul, because it brings together two of my favorite things: peen and local news fuck-ups! So today’s HSOTD is the sandcastle dick!

During a promo for a sand sculpting charity event on the local news morning show The Morning Blend in Omaha, Nebraska, one of the co-hosts Mike DiGiacomo was playing around with a sandcastle when he “accidentally” made a hard cut peen complete with a matching pair of perfectly round and freshly waxed crotch huevos. I threw “accidentally” in quotes, because, ho please. Mike DiGiacomo definitely knows that when the internet isn’t obsessing over cats, it’s obsessing over peens, and an accidental dick sculpture is the kind of thing that’ll go viral. Take it away, Mike (who is now one of my favorite sand sculpture artistes)!

I’m surprised he didn’t go all the way by sprinkling crabs on the nuts and topping that castle dick off with some sea foam he just so happened to be carrying in a jar in his jacket pocket. But really, I applaud him, because you can never have too many sandcastle dicks on local TV!
