A Bunch Of Texts Johnny Depp’s Assistant Sent To Amber Heard After An Alleged Fight Have Been Released (UPDATE)
It’s show-and-tell week for Amber Heard’s team. Yesterday, People published pictures from December of Amber’s injured face after an alleged beat-down courtesy of Johnny Depp. And also yesterday, Entertainment Tonight posted text messages that were allegedly sent between Johnny Depp’s assistant Stephen Deuters and Amber after one of his rages back in 2014 before they were married. I knew Hollywood assistants were required to do a bunch of weird shit, but if these texts are real, then apparently one of those requirements is apologizing to their boss’ girlfriend on their behalf after acting like a violent mess. The texts are after the cut:
Damn, this is all playing out like an alternate reality version of Edward Scissorhands in which Johnny plays Kim’s shitty manipulative boyfriend Jim. Especially that part about kicking her.
As for why Amber didn’t call up the police and tell them there’s a “little lost boy” who needs a serious fucking conversation about domestic abuse, well – this might explain why a little more. Earlier this week, we learned from Amber’s lawyers that she finally went ahead and gave a statement regarding that alleged cellphone fight to the LAPD. But TMZ says that Amber probably won’t be filing a proper police report on the matter. Sources say Amber still loves Johnny and “doesn’t want to bury him.” She thinks a police report would trigger an arrest, and she really doesn’t want things to end with Johnny doing time.
However, sources connected to Johnny (his most intelligent scarves, perhaps) are calling bullshit on Amber’s ‘so concerned for Johnny’s reputation‘ routine. They believe she timed her abuse allegations with the release of Alice Through the Looking Glass in an attempt to have it bomb at the box office. But well, if the crappy reviews were any indication, it was going to be a flop all on it’s own.
But what’s been going on with Johnny? He’s been pretty quiet lately. Well, at least in the US he’s been quiet. In Denmak, however, he’s been drunk arguing with his bodyguards. According to The Daily Mail, Johnny got into a 2:30am fight outside of his hotel with one of his bodyguards after a Hollywood Vampires show. Johnny was chugging champagne outside with fans and a “mystery blonde” when his bodyguard tried to get him to take it inside and call it a night. Sources say Johnny refused and stayed outside drinking till 4am. The Mail has pictures of Johnny with balled-up fists and ragey face. The sources also say that Johnny was in a “party mood“, and that he was the last one to leave the hotel bar. That foolish bodyguard – nobody comes between Johnny and boozing!
UPDATE ON THE TEXTS: Since the theme of this situation between Johnny and Amber is apparently he said/she said/everyone said, Stephen Deuters has chimed in. Stephen tells TMZ that those texts have been “doctored” and that he never said Johnny attacked Amber. He also says he has no knowledge of any abuse between Amber and Johnny, and that he’s never seen Johnny be violent with anyone. Stephen adds that he will testify under oath that he never sent those texts.
