Open Post: Hosted By The Accidental C-Word In The New Mockingjay Poster

So The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 happens soon-ish, and Variety says that the official Twitter account of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 decided to celebrate by throwing up a little teaser poster announcing that there’s only 100 days until opening night. Unfortunately, nobody in the graphic design department seemed to notice that when you break up a zero with the letters u, n, and t, you get a typographic Where’s Waldo? situation. Except in this case, instead of searching for a dude in a striped sweater, you’re staring at a c-word. Or if you’re my charmingly naive friend, you’re staring at the word “until” and wondering what all the fuss is about.

Once the powers that be realized their 100 Days poster had a dirty word smack-dab in the middle of it, they yanked it down. But really, how could they miss that before it went up? It’s not even that hidden – especially for a cunt hunter like myself, who can spot the c-word from a million miles away (I’m always on the lookout for the accidental appearance of a no-no word). Even Jennifer Lawrence looks like she’s thinking: “Guys, are you seeing this? Please tell me you’re seeing this. No really, grab another set of eyes, because I’m pretty sure I have a giant cunt on my face.
