Iggy Azalea Thinks “The Media” Is Trying To Start Shit Between Her And Britney Spears
When I think about the reasons why Britney Spears might be crossing the name “Iggy Azalea” off her Christmas card list, most of them have to do with Iggy Azalea starting shit with her on Twitter over their song “Pretty Girls” a few days ago. However, according to Iggy Azalea, it has nothing to do with the fact that her fingers typed the words “I dont have to suck the womans asshole 24/7 to be her friend” and everything to do with shit-starting troublemakers in the media.
Shortly after Brit Brit responded to Iggy’s asshole-sucking comment by pulling out her best umbrella and covering her in shade, Iggy hopped on Twitter to hiss at everyone trying to make things awkward between them.
Iam honestly not surprised but still really saddened that the media is trying to create a "beef" between @britneyspears and myself.

We remain friends and i haven't said anything negative at all about her. Does wishing we had promoted a single more make me the bad guy?

i feel like the media wants women in music to get out and mud wrestle each other. As a woman i take great offense.

Women in the media should be able to have a grown up and subjective opinion without it being anything more than that. its disappointing.

No one is throwing "shade" or "shots" on either side of the table. The girl is my friend and i support her 100%.

i feel like the press just wants to see girls be overtly sexual to one another, and have no real opinion other than "i love it! ^.^"

Im over it. Women in music are not the same as a teen drama. Stop making us all out to be, we are business women & artists. Not mean girls.

“I’m over it“- ironically, the three most common words used when talking about Iggy Azalea.
So Iggy tried real hard to convince everyone she wasn’t being a nasty bitch to Britney on Twitter, but apparently that’s not the only place she’s been rude to Brit Brit. UsWeekly says that Iggy was a difficult rubber-stuffed diva on the set of the “Pretty Girls” music video. A source says: “‘Pretty Girls’ was Britney’s song and video but Iggy totally took it over as if it was hers. Iggy ordered everyone – including Britney – around as if she was directing the video.” Another source claims Iggy wouldn’t take direction, and later demanded that they change the artwork for the single to feature her more. It didn’t end there; Iggy also started bossing Brit Brit around about what to wear during their performance of “Pretty Girls” at the Billboard Awards.
Well, that last one isn’t really that bad. Iggy was just making sure the debut of her expensive new face wasn’t going to get upstaged by Brit Brit shuffling across the stage in a Frapp-stained crop top and a pair of beat-up UGG boots.
