Halle Berry Drags Gabriel Aubry To Court For Allegedly Dyeing And Straightening Their Daughter’s Hair

It’s that time again when we’re reminded that Nahla Aubry doesn’t only have the name of a cartoon lion, but she’d also be better off being raised by actual lions, because her parents are the wrong kind of crazy.

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry are in the middle of a messy, dirty court battle for child support. Halle Berry wants the court to reduce Gabriel Aubry’s monthly child support check from $16,000 all the way down to $3,000, because she thinks his lazy ass needs to get a job. Gabriel has already argued that it’s been hard for him to get modeling jobs ever since Olivier Martinez beat the pretty out of him. Well, those crazy hos are bringing the crazy again and Halle is once again trying to make Gabriel look like a shit puddle of a father.

TMZ says that Gabriel, his lawyers and Halle’s lawyers were in court this morning to talk about Nahla’s hair. I wish cameras were allowed in the court room, because I need to see the judge make a “So this is what it’s come to” face. Halle’s lawyers took Gabriel to court, because she thinks that he got their 6-year-old daughter’s hair straightened and lightened with highlights. The Daily Mail says that Halle’s lawyers argued that lightening and straightening Nahla’s hair could cause her physical and psychological damage.

A source (Hi, Halle!) tells The Daily Mail that Halle didn’t just drag Gabriel’s ass to court of the blue. She asked him several times about Nahla’s hair and when he kept denying it, she got the lawyers involved. Halle’s lawyers gave the court before and after pictures of Nahla’s hair. Halle claims in the court papers that she noticed a change in Nahla’s hair about a year ago and Gabriel shook his head “no” every time she asked him if he did anything to their kid’s hair.

It gets crazier and messier. Halle took some of Nahla’s hair from a brush and had it tested at a lab. Halle says in court papers:

“I have since reviewed the laboratory report concerning this very hair sample that I obtained, which confirms to me that Gabriel has not been truthful about what he has done and had been doing to our daughter’s hair. I continue to worry about the potential psychological and physical damage to Nahla that can be caused by the use of chemical hair treatments and the psychological message that it conveys to Nahla, and to implore the court to put a stop to Gabriel’s attempts to alter our daughter’s appearance and most probably cause her to wonder why her natural appearance is not good enough.”

Halle also writes that Gabriel is denying their “half-black” daughter of her identity (translation: Halle is accusing Gabriel of trying to make their daughter “more white”). Also, in the newest court papers, Halle accused Gabriel of doing something she accused him of three years ago. Halle once again accused Gabriel of calling her the N-word.

After today’s court hearing, the judge ruled that neither Halle nor Gabriel can change Nahla’s hair for now.

Just when I thought this batshit insane situation couldn’t get more batshit insane, I get the image of Halle Berry plucking Nahla’s hair out of a hairbrush and dropping it in an envelope to send to a lab to have it tested. Couldn’t Halle have asked Nahla, “Now honey, did your piece of shit sperm donor of a father take you to get your hair dyed or is your mother crazy as usual?” If Gabriel did chemically lighten Nahla’s hair, he’s crazy and really needs to get a job, because if you have time to take a 6-year-old to get her hair dyed then you have too much time on your hands. If he didn’t and Halle is just saying that to smear him, she’s crazy. Hell, they’re both crazy no matter what.

And a judge ruling that bleach must not touch a kid’s hair sent a shiver of fear up Kingston Rossdale’s spine.
